South East Asia is well-known for its ancient printing and natural dyeing techniques, alive until today through generations of skilled artisans. This hand block printed canvas cushion cover was painted using madder extract, a botanical color that gives beautiful shades of pink and red. This work has been later accentuated by hand embroidery and ornaments that we have left under our artisans’ complete creative freedom for them to apply.
